The Atlanta Braves beat the Milwaukee Brewers 5-4 with a late inning homerun from Freddie Freeman to win to series 3-1. In Game 1, both starters were strong with Corbin Burnes and Charlie Morton going six innings before, however Morton gave up a two-run homerun in the 7th to Rowdy Tellez before being pulled. Joc Pederson would hit a solo shot to cut the lead to one. A rough 9th inning from Hader would have the Braves threatening, however he was able the shup the door to secure a Game 1 victory. Game 2 would be a one-sided affair with Max Fried throwing six shutout innings on route to a 3-0 victory for Atlanta. Game 3 would go much the same with Ian Anderson throwing five shutout innings and Joc Pederson hitting a three-run homerun to Atlanta win 3-0. Game 4 would see the Brewer offensive finally wake up and put two-runs in to 4th and 5th innings. However, the Braves would answer back both innings and leaving the game tie. That would be the case until Freddie Freeman hit a solo homerun in the 8th off of the Brewers dominant closer Hader.

The Brewers problem to the regular season reared their ugly head in the series as the worst offensive entering the LCS score six runs in four games including two shutouts.

The Braves enter the playoffs with worst record but put it all together against a team that was struggling down the stretch. They will play the winner of the Giants/Dodgers series in the NLCS.
